SOUL Pilates & Movement Studio in Glasgow is a fully comprehensive Boutique Pilates Studio tucked into the vibrant fabric of one of Scotland's most dynamic cities — where the energy of urban life meets a sanctuary of calm the moment you step through the door. Designed with intention from the ground up, the studio offers a beautifully curated space where natural light, considered interiors, and a carefully crafted atmosphere come together to make every visit feel like a genuine escape — without ever leaving the city.
SOUL Pilates & Movement Studio came to Simply AVS with a clear and exciting vision — to create a genuine wow factor within their Glasgow studio. As a boutique Pilates destination focused on delivering a premium client experience, SOUL wanted their space to feel as striking visually as it was effective functionally.
Project Scope & Solution
The studio identified their far wall as an untapped opportunity. Rather than leaving it as dead space, they wanted it transformed into a full-scale LED screen installation — something that would stop clients in their tracks, elevate the overall aesthetic of the studio, and serve a dual purpose throughout the day.
The Solution
Simply AVS delivered an LED screen solution scaled to cover the full expanse of the far wall, turning it into a dynamic visual centrepiece. The installation was designed to work across two key use cases — providing a stunning, shareable backdrop for clients to capture photos and content after class, while also enhancing the in-class experience by setting the scene and atmosphere during live sessions.

Project Challenges
LED Quality
A non-negotiable for SOUL was the quality of the finished image. With a clientele that actively photographs and shares their studio experience, any pixelation or loss of clarity — particularly in photos — simply wasn't an option. To meet this standard, Simply AVS specified the Hikvision P1.5 COB LED display, a premium solution delivering an exceptionally fine pixel pitch that ensures the image remains crisp, vivid, and camera-ready from every angle.
Cabling
With the display installed at one end of the studio and the controller housed at the other, routing the cabling presented its own challenge. To preserve the studio's sleek, high-end interior, all cables were concealed beneath the floor — keeping the space completely free of visible wiring. Looking further ahead, Simply AVS also installed two additional redundant cables alongside the live run. Should a fault ever occur down the line, engineers can switch to a spare immediately, removing any need to lift the studio floor and cause unnecessary disruption to the business.
Walls
A further consideration came during the installation itself. The far wall — the intended home of the LED display — was an original brick wall, uneven in places and far from the flat, smooth surface required to mount the screen directly. Fitting the display straight onto the brickwork would have compromised both the quality of the finish and the integrity of the
installation. To resolve this, MDF boarding was fitted across the entire wall surface first, creating a perfectly flat and stable base onto which the LED display could be cleanly and securely mounted — ensuring a flawless result both structurally and aesthetically.

A crystal clear, pixel-perfect image was essential, particularly in photographs and video content shared by clients on social media. Pixelation was not acceptable. - High End Aesthetic Finish
All elements of the installation needed to complement the premium look and feel of the studio, including fully concealed cabling with no visible wiring disrupting the interior.
Future-Proof Cabling
Redundancy cables needed to be installed alongside the live cable run to safeguard against any future faults, without the need to disturb the studio floor.
Structural Preparation
The uneven original brick wall needed to be addressed prior to installation to ensure a flat, stable, and suitable mounting surface for the LED display.
